Justice is investigating a possible sexual exploitation network in the case of police officer Nicole V., who was suspended from her duties for producing and spreading erotic videos on social media in the official police uniform. Lawyer Rodrigo Tripolone filed a complaint with the Federal Court of Tres de Febrero, accusing the commission of the crimes of trafficking in persons for sexual exploitation, sexual exploitation, and procuring, within the framework of activities carried out and disseminated through social networks. According to the document seen by the Argentine News Agency, the lawyer highlights that behind the videos there would appear to be "an organized structure for the recruitment, offering, and facilitation of sexual content starring multiple women, one of them wearing the uniform of the Buenos Aires City Police". When asked about the indicators that could be linked to sexual exploitation, Tripolone explained that there is an organized production of sexual content, the participation of multiple women in private settings (generating monetized material, from which it cannot be determined if they are Argentine, foreign, or minors), the use of the police uniform (which can serve as a tool for recruitment, facilitating encounters or productions, and apparent legitimization before third parties), and a network of accounts acting in concert. In this scenario, he requested that urgent measures be adopted for the preservation of digital evidence, identification of the people involved, and intervention by specialized bodies. Among the measures is ordering Instagram, TikTok, and related platforms to immediately preserve all content from the accounts mentioned, as well as requesting registration data, IP addresses, emails, and associated phone numbers. This is added to an urgent request to the Buenos Aires City Police, raids, wiretaps, computer forensics, identifying all the women who appear in the videos, and involving the Prosecutor's Office for Trafficking and Exploitation of Persons (PROTEX). According to the lawyer, the suspended police officer, who had been in the force for over three years, is the recruiter in this organization and, despite the virality of the case and the measure taken by the authorities, continues to generate content. This is because, after the incident, it became known that she is active on other social networks where the accused continues to spread content of this kind with other profiles, where she also uses the uniform, and even exposes external links to monetization pages. For the moment, Nicole V. has only been made available due to the fact that her conduct "affects the institutional prestige" and that the use of the uniform violates Law 5688 on Public Safety. Likewise, according to information provided to NA, the police officer and another young woman, who is not in the security forces, have another complaint for the crime of usurpation of titles and honors, driven by the Buenos Aires force itself. "The irregular and indecorous conduct of the aforementioned officer notably affects the prestige of the institution to which she belongs and, far from attacking freedom of expression, it is, on the contrary, aimed at preserving public order and tranquility, as well as the guiding principles of Public Safety management enshrined in Law 5688," the police report highlights. At that time, an internal affairs investigation was initiated from the Internal Affairs Office to the Transparency and External Control Office, which will evaluate whether her dismissal corresponds or the application of a lesser sanction. For the authorities, the objectification of the policewoman "affects the normal functioning of those who wear the uniform, since they are not going to be taken seriously and will be the target of mockery when they attend events".
